Walk for Dusty and Phil
A Journey of Love, Loss, and Hope Raising Funds for Brain Tumour Research
In a powerful tribute to their late husbands Dusty and Phil, Kerry and Kellie embarked on an inspiring journey along the Amalfi Coast, raising $3,820 for brain tumour research. This unforgettable walk took place over several days, as the pair explored scenic towns and breathtaking landscapes, each step fuelled by love, remembrance, and a shared mission to help others facing the challenges of brain cancer.
Kerry and Kellie began their journey with a heartfelt message, sharing that they were walking in memory of their husbands, taken too soon by brain cancer. As they wore their NRF shirts proudly along the coast, they reflected on their husbands' courage and resilience and the memories they continue to hold dear. Despite recent flooding along their initially planned route, they completed modified hikes in Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, each town offering both a peaceful escape and a reminder of the importance of their mission.
Alongside breathtaking views and touching moments, Kerry and Kellie were inspired by the outpouring of support from friends, family, and generous donors. Together, their efforts raised an incredible $3,820, which will directly support research aimed at finding better treatments and improving outcomes for those affected by brain tumours.
With this walk, Kerry and Kellie brought the world closer to hope and healing for brain tumour patients, reminding us all of the power of community, resilience, and love. Thank you to everyone who donated and followed their journey, making a meaningful difference for brain cancer research.
