In December 2021, Dave was diagnosed with Brain Cancer – Stage IV Glioblastoma. He underwent a craniotomy, six weeks of concurrent chemotherapy and radiation, and intravenous Avastin. After treatment, Dave received promising results with a significant reduction in the tumour.
But in May 2022, the cancer returned with substantial tumour growth throughout his brain. He was also diagnosed with Leptomeningeal disease. Just two months later, our beautiful Dave passed.
To face terminal brain cancer with such strength—never complaining, never asking "why me"—was true bravery.
Glioblastoma is the worst human medical diagnosis. It deeply affects both the patient and their families—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
We are committed to:
Supporting those affected
Raising awareness
Funding research for early detection
Dave was humble, kind, selfless, and generous. A loving husband and father to two young sons—aged just 4 and 11 months—Dave was passionate about helping others. Everyone who met him adored his energetic, caring nature.
Let’s keep fighting this disease. Let’s honour Dave. Let’s support the heroes still fighting and remember those we’ve lost.
BRAVE FOR DAVE – Never out of the fight!
