NRF Strong Enough to Live Art Auction, raised an incredible $14,521 for life-saving brain tumour research!
Congratulations to all our lucky art auction winners! As our beautiful donated artworks find their way into their forever homes, we wanted to extend a huge thank to everyone who participated in the NRF Strong Enough to Live Art Auction, raising an incredible $14,521 for life-saving brain tumour research!
None of this would have been possible without a huge collective effort from everyone involved. A big thank you to our generous artists who donated their time and artwork, the many donors who contributed silent auction items, raffle prizes, delicious food and wine and everyone who came along to the launch event. We are so grateful to everyone who bought raffle tickets, bid on a silent auction item or any one of the fantastic art pieces. Every dollar will go to fund new, innovative brain tumour research to help find a cure. What a wonderful way to honour the memory of Chris "Critter" Adams, who established SETL in 2015 just weeks after his own brain cancer diagnosis.
Thank you to the Adams family for coming up with the fantastic idea of an art auction and working tirelessly with NRF staff and volunteers to curate such a fabulous event and thankyou to all of the art donors who spent their time and creatvity creating all of the thoughtful art pieces to donate to the auction, see the full list below:
If you missed out on winning your favourite piece, be sure to keep an eye on our socials as we are creating a SETL NRF Calendar! The calendar will include art pieces as voted by attendees of the live viewing, with all proceeds from sales going to brain tumour research. A great Christmas present so stay tuned!
