Meet Hayley: Providing Support When It Matters Most

Thanks to your generous support, South Australia’s first Brain Cancer Nurse Consultant, Hayley Henley, is now providing invaluable care to brain cancer patients and their families.

In her dedicated role, Hayley guides individuals through the complex and often overwhelming journey of a brain cancer diagnosis. She ensures patients receive compassionate, coordinated care throughout their treatment, both in hospital and at home.

Hayley’s passion for this work is deeply personal. After losing her Nana to a Glioblastoma just 12 weeks after diagnosis, she understands the emotional and practical challenges families face during this time.

Today, Hayley supports patients in a wide range of ways — from coordinating appointments and liaising with medical teams to offering emotional support and connecting families with essential services.
