The NRF Spring 2014 Newsletter
This year the NRF funded research projects looking for improved pharmacological, surgical and post-care treatments for a number of neurosurgical conditions, including:
- Stroke: restoring blood flow to the brain sooner
- Traumatic Brain Injury: control of swelling
- Traumatic Brain Injury: nutrition as a key intervention for improved recovery
- Brain Tumour Research: inhibiting tumour growth
- Paediatric Research: managing of head injuries
